In Kristianstad, we currently have 10 structural engineers with expertise in general construction for concrete, steel, and wood. We work with various materials and in all phases of projects, from program documents and investigations to construction documents and detail drawings.

The office in Kristianstad is centrally located and well-positioned with good transport links. Here, about 30 colleagues from different divisions within Sweco work together, and we appreciate socializing in joint activities both inside and outside of work.

Your future role

As a structural engineer at Sweco, you will for example:

  • Work in all phases of projects, from feasibility studies to completed construction documents.
  • Help our clients develop technical and cost-effective solutions.
  • Work with design and modeling in programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Tekla.
  • Perform static calculations and compile calculation reports.
  • Manage and lead projects based on your experience.
  • Develop client relationships.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant education from university, such as a master's degree or bachelor's degree in structural engineering.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in structural engineering.
  • Experience working with building design and structural analysis.

It is an advantage if you have consulting experience and experience in managing or leading projects in general construction or prefab projects. If you have experience working with moisture design and construction details, that is also a plus.

It is important that you express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work.

As a person, you are curious, open, and enthusiastic, driving things from idea to completion. You seek help where needed and look for new solutions to move forward. You are interested in developing yourself and in helping to develop your colleagues and clients, and you enjoy creating contacts both externally and internally.
